[up1] About my commment
One day, our classmates listened to Ms. Burtz's presentation. I will tell you what I thought after hearing that in three paragraphs.
First, I thought that to revitalize the region, it is
necessary to get residents to have a good impression of the project. Because
it's not a good impression, it's hard to get cooperation. But when I listened
to her story, I felt that my thoughts were too vague. Until now, it has been
for residents, but I have not even thought about relating it to junior high
school and elementary school events. So, I want to try to make a project that
leads to solving problems so that residents, especially children, can discover
their charm.
Second, I was most surprised that she tried to contact a
lot of media such as the regionally limited media to the entire prefecture's
media. I think it is necessary to revitalize the region to convey activities to
many people through the media. Because it is a great way to get people
outsiders interested. If our group introduces my hometown,
I want to make contact
with a newspaper called Niigata Daily.
Third, we haven't decided yet, but if we were to take away my hometown, the infield, I would like to do something. My hometown is Uchino. There is a lot of nature. Also, there are many children and elders.
I love my hometown so
much that I want to live forever. However, compared to the past, the number of
local events has decreased. So, I think we should revive some events to
revitalize the region. I describe one of them. This event is called “Shinkawa
Hotaru” which is to hang a lot of colorful lights like fireflies on a large
river called Shinkawa at night. It is very beautiful and fun. I think if you
open this Iben, it will be an opportunity to interact with many outsiders.

I think revitalize the region through the media would know a lot of people too. In addition, I had never heard "Shinkawa Hotaru" so I interested in it!
ReplyDeleteI also thought it was very important to connect local revitalization projects to children's learning.
